Alois Duschl senior qualified as a master carpenter in Landshut in 1956 and founded his carpentry business in Freyung. In 1976 the current company owner, Alois Duschl junior, began his apprenticeship under his father. Duschl junior studied to become a master carpenter in Regensburg, qualifying in 1984 and taking over the firm in 1992.

An RHK-AK 300 provides the heat in the carpentry firm, the workshops and the houses.

The Jammertal Golf & Spa Resort Datteln has gone from being a modest country seat to an exclusive wellness resort.
