In 1956, Alois Duschl Sr. completed his master carpenter examination in Landshut and founded the carpentry business in Freyung. In 1976, the current owner, Alois Duschl Jr., began his apprenticeship in the family business. He completed his master craftsman examination in Regensburg in 1984 and took over the company in 1992.

A Heizomat RHK-AK 300 provides warmth for the carpentry workshop, offices, and residential houses.
