The first step was the construction of a biogas plant. Here, in addition to electricity, the waste heat was sold, laying the foundation for local heating. The number of customers increased, and they needed a wood chip heating system for support. Eventually, Peter Veh purchased his first Heizomat wood chipper and now operates 4 local heating networks.

After the hop harvest, it must be dried quickly and intensively to ensure good quality. The old drying method was very costly due to rising heating oil prices. Wood chips solved this problem. The private house has been heated with Heizomat since 1997.

On the Wittmann family's agricultural property, there are two large connected residential and utility buildings. They are heated environmentally and sustainably with a Heizomat biomass combustion system, type RHK-AK 50. It can be installed flexibly in different spaces and is a reliable "workhorse" for naturally generated heat and energy. The chosen model is in high demand by both agricultural and forestry businesses as well as private customers. The Wittmanns use a vertical auger to fill the bunker with wood chips. It is the best tool for conveniently filling high-lying wood chip storage.

In a barn of the former agricultural operation of the Oettinger family in Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, the fuel storage is located. Up to 70 m³ of wood chips are stored here next to the boiler room of the RHK-AK 30 combustion system. Using a Heizomat room discharge, the material is transported directly to the heating system.

The chain conveyor keeps the discharge system horizontal at floor level, allowing more usable volume in the bunker and gentle operation of the milling arms. Also notable at Oettinger is the Heizoclean EF 185. The filter technology for biomass systems is TÜV-certified and meets the latest environmental requirements. Innovative: current and voltage are automatically adjusted to the dust load.

The renovated Romanyk family home in a suburb of Wassertrüdingen shines fiery red and powerful. The biomass combustion system RHK-AK 30 from Heizomat is just as energetic. Located in an adjacent storage and garage building, it supplies energy to the entire complex. From the wood chip bunker, chips are quickly transported to the boiler via a chain conveyor. The component was developed by Heizomat itself, based on over 30 years of experience with fully automated wood chip systems. From the planning stage, the Romanyk family decided on a complete Heizomat solution, including the Heizocontrol ET 100 (Home Edition) control system and the Heizoclean EF 185 electrostatic particle separator for emission control.
